This coming-of-age drama follows Hayakawa Mai, a contract worker with aspirations of becoming a novelist. After her agency terminates her contract, she begins to lose hope in her dreams. However, a chance reunion with her best friend from high school, whom she hasn't seen in ten years, helps her regain her positivity.
