Overview
Frans and Mariska Bauer have been a well-oiled machine for over 30 years. Frans travels throughout the country for his performances and is often away from home. Mariska runs the house. Now that their boys are getting older and increasingly independent, they can't escape the fact that this busy life will be very different in a few years. Empty nest syndrome is looming. Besides, Frans saw Abraham last year and finds balance in his busy career increasingly important. But how do you achieve that? In "F'rans & Mariska, Couples on the Test," they prepare for this new phase in their lives. They put it to the test and ask themselves: is overwintering in Spain something for us? They get help from other well-known couples who, like them, have the same question or have already found the answer.
