An inspiring biography. Reagan began a successful career as an actor appearing in 52 movie productions. After switching from the Democratic to Republican party, he came to national prominence as a successful two term governor of California. Twice defeated for the Republican presidential nomination in 1968 and 1976, he finally prevailed in 1980.
