Shot over two years, this gritty sports doc from filmmakers Matthew T. Gannon and Michael Sarner tracks the highs and lows of the California Wave Bantam AAA youth hockey team as they work toward winning the coveted national championship. Also included are revealing interviews with more than a dozen professional hockey stars -- from Brendan Shanahan to Joe Thornton -- who share their experiences on the road to making it big.
