Overview
Set in Calvi dell'Umbria, Italy , the film recounts the massacre of 16 villagers by retreating Nazi troops. The memory resurfaces in the words of a grandmother to her granddaughter, in a tale that interweaves two generations and gives voice to one of the many Nazi-Fascist atrocities, too long forgotten.
