Anyone who thought Alex Agnew would enjoy a well-deserved rest after Larger than Life was wrong. From September 2011, Alex was once again gearing up to air his views on the world. The show premiered in February 2012. And it turned out to be a dark show, because Alex is extremely annoyed by the Big Brother feeling that surrounds us today. The government constantly deciding what is good or bad for us, the general public thinking they can make or break people, media watchers steering us in certain directions. About the distorted form of social control that, strangely enough, goes hand in hand with a form of apathy. We are no longer Generation X, but Generation Nothing. We have so little to do that other people's lives become our entertainment. That's why the title of this show is "Interesting Times." Named after the curse the Chinese utter on someone they wish ill upon: "May you live in interesting times."
