Thomas is damaged. He is mentally ill and deeply troubled by feelings of guilt. Deep-rooted anger simmers in his psyche as he faces an appallingly violent crime. His mentor is Dr Jonathan Abrams, a psychotherapist who probes Thomas’s mind and pulls out his madness. As Thomas crumbles under the strain, Abrams pushes him to the very limits of insanity. Whether he likes it or not, Thomas is drawn into the dark, shadowy corners of the human condition and must make difficult choices concerning the truth about himself and his fractured reality.
