Overview
In a remote mountainous area at the end of the Ming Dynasty, several villagers secretly raided a tomb late at night and were killed by a Gu curse. Lu Wen Liang and Zhang Chi Yi noticed the strange aspects of the corpses and decided to venture into the "Village of Short Lives" to uncover the truth. However, it was widely rumored in the village that the curse of a Gu witch from 20 years ago caused the deaths. The two men were also blamed for breaking a Gu-exorcising ritual, making them the harbingers of disaster. Just a step away from the truth, they were unaware that they had already ventured deep into danger...
